Our story
Haavia was not built by chance or on a whim. We have been influencing for years where it happens – at procurement seminars, training sessions, and behind closed doors in public administration discussions. We know what's wrong with the current system. That's why we built Haavi.
Our team has trained over a thousand procurement professionals in service design and the utilization of artificial intelligence since 2023. Our founder Aku has also been invited to participate in the government's action program's Procurement Finland AI pioneers roundtable, where Finland's leading AI experts have collectively considered solutions to issues such as the shortage of suppliers in public procurement.
During these years, we have developed a clear vision of what needs to be done to make the public procurement system a more efficient, impactful, and sustainable solution for all parties involved.
And so, Haavi was born – as a reaction to the shortcomings of the current system.
